Details

Here is an unrestored, original Guilia Spyder for sale. This example presents as a nice "driver." It's tidy, the body is sound, and it's had a recent top end rebuild at a local Alfa specialist. It's an honest car that can be enjoyed now and restored when the time is right.

This is the one you have been searching for. It is great fun and is an excellent daily driver.

This 50 YEAR OLD original survivor has had three 'driving' owners. The first owner for one year, the second for 47 years, and the third since then. It is a fantastic example and is mechanically sound with a lot of recent work invested. Drive it as a fantastic daily / weekend driver or take the time and attention to restore it and have a very valuable show car.

Copies of service work date back to 1966, when the car was regularly taken to the same two shops in New Jersey from the purchase date until 1986. Recent service includes a new vinyl top in 2014, and a complete engine rebuild including all lower and upper components, rebuilt carburetor and new clutch assembly, and a rebuilt transmission which shifts beautifully. Previously new tie rod ends were fit on both sides, a new battery and ignition components were replaced.

Included with this vehicle are original keys and documents from the original sale including; Service Coupon Book; Alfa Romeo Instruction Book and a supplement from then VP, Arturo Reitz, titled "Enjoying Your Alfa." The original jack is included, plus two new cloth floor mats.
Something to note, which was recently expertly repaired. There was a poor frame repair done in the 1970's - Photos to show before, middle and after are available. With the right rocker panel removed, it was apparent that the entire inner sill would require replacement as well as the frame segment in question. All new pieces were hand fabricated to exact factory specifications by an expert technician in Colorado. With the metal work complete, the section was painted blending the newly restored section for a perfect match with the rest of the car. There is some paint wear on the inside bottom of the passenger door. A paint job was done sometime in the last 20 years. A fair amount of time and money has been invested over the last two years, and mechanically it is sound and running well. This really is the car to keep as a fun investment. Enjoy driving as is, or restore and show it. It will need is new rubber door and window seals. They are present and function, but in need of replacement.

Fully restored models are already commanding over $100,000-120,000. This is a highly collectible and beautiful mostly original car. It has been certified and serviced in BC by N&M Sportscar in North Vancouver. They are Alfa experts and they love this car.

Note the price is in US Dollars. Viewings by appointment.
