Several changes set the Cayman R apart from its sibling the Cayman S, all made to enhance its performance. The R is 121lbs lighter, it has 10 more bhp, it has the wheels from the Boxster Spyder that save 11lbs each, it has sports suspension that is 10mm lower than the S, it has a special aero kit with a deeper front air dam and a fixed spoiler on the back, and the Sport Chrono Package is standard.
