Details

This Triumph roadster was restored by the current owner using components from two different cars. The engine, transmission, body and frame were assembled from a 1957 TR3. The fenders, doors and front cowling came from a 1959 TR3A. The car was then completely restored, with all bodywork was done following the factory method of the day using lead rather than Bondo as a filler. The car was then painted, hand sanded and repainted using many coats of lacquer. The engine and transmission were rebuilt using all new materials. Tires, interior, side curtains and top were also replaced at time of restoration, and are in very good condition now. The car was then weighed, inspected, and assigned a VIN by the Province of BC, and is titled as a 1959 TR3A, in-keeping with the body on the car. The carburetors were rebuilt in 2015.

With only 9600 miles since the restoration was completed, the car presents very well, as an excellent "driver". It runs and shifts well and is in good working order. It represents an opportunity to enjoy summer top down fun with style and character for a modest sum, and is eligible ( and currently carries) collector plates. Because of it's age, this car is being sold as True Mileage Unknown. Viewings by appointment please.
